On this R-data statistics page, you will find information about the BirdNest data set which pertains to BirdNest. The BirdNest data set is found in the Stat2Data R package. You can load the BirdNest data set in R by issuing the following command at the console data("BirdNest"). This will load the data into a variable called BirdNest. If R says the BirdNest data set is not found, you can try installing the package by issuing this command install.packages("Stat2Data") and then attempt to reload the data. DetailsAmy R. Moore, as a student at Grinnell College in 1999, wanted to study the relationship between species characteristics and the type of nest a bird builds, using data collected from available sources.
