Documentation |

On this Picostat.com statistics page, you will find information about the grouseticks data set which pertains to Data on red grouse ticks from Elston et al. 2001. The grouseticks data set is found in the lme4 R package. You can load the grouseticks data set in R by issuing the following command at the console data("grouseticks"). This will load the data into a variable called grouseticks. If R says the grouseticks data set is not found, you can try installing the package by issuing this command install.packages("lme4") and then attempt to reload the data. If you need to download R, you can go to the R project website. You can download a CSV (comma separated values) version of the grouseticks R data set. The size of this file is about 18,311 bytes. ## Data on red grouse ticks from Elston et al. 2001## DescriptionNumber of ticks on the heads of red grouse chicks
