On this Picostat.com statistics page, you will find information about the remission data set which pertains to Cancer Remission and Cell Activity. The remission data set is found in the boot R package. You can load the remission data set in R by issuing the following command at the console data("remission"). This will load the data into a variable called remission. If R says the remission data set is not found, you can try installing the package by issuing this command install.packages("boot") and then attempt to reload the data. If you need to download R, you can go to the R project website. You can download a CSV (comma separated values) version of the remission R data set. The size of this file is about 223 bytes.


Cancer Remission and Cell Activity

Description

The remission data frame has 27 rows and 3 columns.

This data frame contains the following columns:

LI

A measure of cell activity.

m

The number of patients in each group (all values are actually 1 here).

r

The number of patients (out of m) who went into remission.
